A Note About Coverage
An invitation does not guarantee a published review, and complimentary tickets, press admission, accommodations, or other considerations never guarantee positive coverage.
When complimentary admission or another relevant consideration has been provided, Places Please! will disclose it to readers.
Reviews represent the writer's individual experience and perspective. The purpose of Places Please! is not to rank artists against one another, but to engage thoughtfully and honestly with the work being presented.
Critique the work. Respect the artist.
Features & Interviews
Not everything has to be a review.
Places Please! is also interested in the people, traditions, crafts, and wonderfully unusual corners of the performance world.
Have an interesting story to tell? A performer we should meet? A behind-the-scenes process worth exploring? A tradition audiences might never otherwise see?
Pitch it.
I'm always interested in discovering another side of the show.
